We help couples discover and book vendors, and we help vendors reach the couples planning Indian, Sri Lankan, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Nepali weddings across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, the Gold Coast, and the Hunter Valley.

Every guide on DesiWed is written, reviewed, and updated by people with direct experience in Australian South Asian weddings. We feature only vendors who maintain a live listing on the platform, so every recommendation comes with a one-click way to enquire. Our editorial team:

Editorial standards
Every published guide on DesiWed meets these standards:
- AU-specific data only. We never substitute US or UK statistics when AU data isn’t available. We say so explicitly.
- Real, named vendors with live DesiWed listings. We don’t list operators that aren’t bookable through the platform.
- Pricing in AUD with verifiable ranges from current vendor websites or industry reports.
- Sources cited inline and at the end of every post. ABS, ACCC, ATO, Easy Weddings, named vendor sites.
- Visible publish date and last-updated date on every post.
- Quarterly content audit: posts older than 90 days are reviewed for accuracy and either updated, merged, or retired.
