Merlyn founded DesiWed Australia to fix a specific problem. Couples planning Indian, Sri Lankan, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Nepali weddings in Australia were stitching together vendor decisions across WhatsApp groups, Instagram DMs, and word-of-mouth. There was no Australian platform built for the format.
Merlyn brings a property professional’s eye to the work. As a Sydney-based buyer’s agent, she runs the same playbook on every DesiWed guide that she runs on a property purchase: due diligence, named operators, real numbers in AUD, and decisions framed around the trade-offs that actually matter.
