6 months agoWe truly could not have asked for a better wedding venue than Doltone House Darling Island. From the very beginning of the planning process right through to the wedding night, the entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We actually held our engagement celebration here a year earlier, and it was such an amazing experience that it made our decision to return for our wedding an easy one. Both events were absolutely flawless, and the level of service we received each time was exceptional. In the lead-up to the wedding, Maria was wonderful to work with. She was incredibly helpful, organised, and supportive throughout the planning process, and always made us feel confident that everything was coming together beautifully. Our wedding coordinator, Rhiann, was phenomenal. She was attentive, calm, and professional, and made the entire process feel seamless. She truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of so we could relax and enjoy the day. On the night itself, Taj and Mel were amazing. They ensured everything ran smoothly and that both we and our guests were looked after all evening. The bartenders and service staff were also fantastic, so friendly, attentive, and professional. Every single staff member contributed to such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. What really stood out to us was how much the entire team genuinely cared about making our day special. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the level of service was outstanding from start to finish. We are so grateful to the entire Doltone House team for helping create such a perfect and unforgettable wedding day. We would highly recommend Doltone House Darling Island to anyone looking for an incredible venue with an exceptional team behind it.

4 months agoThis was my first visit to this place, for a corporate event on a weekend evening. Everything was good!! The spaces are good, the audio and video system excellent, clean toilets, helpful staff. We vegetarians were well looked after. Not only for our entree and mains, we were delighted to find several choices of canapés for us vegetarians - which doesn’t happen often! This made for a great start to the evening. All the items were well presented and tasty. The accessibility is excellent- from Barrangaroo by ferry, from Town Hall by bus 389, from Central by Light rail (which we used), or an easy stroll from the CBD while admiring the beauty of the city! Everything combined to make it a memorable evening experience for us. Thanks to the entire team at Doltone House.

4 months agoI have been to a few events at Dalton house and at their other venues. Thursday night was a gala night with around 350 people. The service was pretty good. The venue was reasonable (standard event venue). The food was below average. Timing seemed out and the quality seems to have dropped since the last few times. Might have been the package the organizers picked but the entrees weren’t appealing, the mains (I had the barramundi) was dry, skin was rubbery and minimal veg. Below average as an experience.. I had to leave before dessert was served but hopefully it improved.

10 months agofirst time to come to this place. it is close to train - light rail. really great location as it is in the city and accessible to public transport - light rail then enter change at townhall / central.. on the said event, the public transportation had an issue nevertheless, I was still able to arrive at the venue on time. great food, light, space.. the toilet also descent despite of the size of the party.. only issue was the sound system.. not sure if the sound system came with the venue or not.. otherwise, I find this place excellent.

2 years agoI went along for an organised tour as we are interested in hiring a room for some business meetings. Well it was all put together so professionally and the spaces are so amazing that we are looking to hold an event there too. The views from balconies or deck areas for each space are just amazing - look at the photos - and my contact there Liana is wonderful. It has all the bones to be pretentious but definitely isn’t. I want to spend all my days there
