Rydges Resort Hunter Valley

Really enjoyed a family holiday here with friends. It hit the mark on all aspects and perfect for families and adults. The hotel food and room service was top notch. Breakfast as well was delicious at the buffet. The staff are very hospitable and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

Very nice resort, nice food in all restaurants and room service. Friendly staff. The villas are a tad run down and old. Mould in bathroom and water damaged windows and tiles. The room furnishings were sub par. The Resort itself besides the Villa were very good with a good pool and spa area. There is quire a bit to do onsite, with an onsite brewery and a golf course just to name a few. I can see this would be a good place for company functions.

Convenient location, friendly staff. However its convenient location makes it a weekend Mecca for Sydney and area families, tourists and golfers. So be warned, this place is like a combination of theme park, feeding zoo (buffet) and parking war zone. That and the place is feeling dated with rooms needing a freshen up. So, if you’re after a relaxing weekend escape, better wine country options available.

We recently stayed at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley and had a truly wonderful experience overall. It was the perfect getaway with family and friends, offering a great mix of relaxation and activities for everyone. The accommodation was comfortable and well-suited for a group stay, and we especially loved the range of activities available around the resort — there was always something to do, which made the trip even more enjoyable. A special mention to the staff, who were consistently friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality really made a difference. While the beds and some parts of the building could benefit from a bit of freshening up, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Everything was still quite comfortable and functional. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and created some great memories. We’d definitely consider coming back again!

Wow if you are a family with Children this is the place to be. I have been coming to the hunter valley for years and always stayed in vineyards etc but if I had known about this place I wouldn't have looked further especially as we have two young children. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The facilities are amazing the pool, water splash park, game room.. the kids were entertained for hours. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and the breakfast here is the best I have experienced and worth the money!! Amazing healthy food and treats available with so so much choice. The kids had fun watching the pancake machine and I had fresh juice and barista coffee with omelette! There was so much choice! It's been the school holidays and every night there was a movie on for the kids at 5pm then 7pm which was great and always a suitable movie that all aged kids could watch. There is a little cocktail bar opposite the room the kids watched the movie in so me and my husband could have a little treat with a.visual view of the movie room. We never get a break and a date night so this was so lovely for us. We had 3 nights but I wish it had been longer!! Also there was a inflatable slide, carasal and train ride available for the kids. So impressed and will be back.
